When I was little, Santa gave me Cut and Style Barbie. This gift, unbeknownst to me, paved the way for my future. Growing up I was unsure what I wanted to choose as a career, but I always knew I wanted to have hair styling as a professional skill.
I earned my Bachelors degree in business at Buffalo State College. I was 19 and taking classes at Buff State that I started working in the salon industry. I have been fortunate to be able to learn from many talented stylists, Mercedes being one of them .
I am very happy and proud that Mercedes and I were able to open Elysian to provide our clients with the experience and atmosphere that we appreciate so much. “Your vibe attracts your tribe” and we think our vibe is cool, laid back, “peaceful and perfect.”

With 30 years in the industry, my journey began in Williamsville, NY, on what I fondly call "Salon Row." It was there that I built my foundation—learning the value of hard work, honing my technical skills, and discovering how to connect with a variety of personalities.
My career then took me to the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, where I gained invaluable experience in luxury service, refining my understanding of client care and the elevated experience I wanted to create in my own space. That experience shaped not only my craft but also the welcoming, stylish, and personalized vibe I strive to provide every client who sits in my chair.
Education is at the heart of what I do. As fashion evolves, so do hair trends, and I’m dedicated to continuous learning—perfecting my cutting techniques and high-lighting skills to create soft, lived-in color and precision cuts that enhance natural beauty.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident, knowing your hair is in expert hands. I prioritize the health of your hair, creating looks that are effortlessly chic and suited to your style and lifestyle. I’m drawn to French-inspired cuts, classic bobs, pretty-girl shags, and feminine softness. I love working with natural textures and celebrating the beauty of grey hair.

Meet Jackie, a passionate and dedicated stylist who has been in the industry for 2 years. Though her love for hair started long before, it was the encouragement from a fellow stylist that pushed her to turn that passion into a career. With a natural ability to connect with others, Jackie brings a sweet and welcoming energy to every chair she sits in. Known for her warm personality and sense of humor, she effortlessly connects with clients, especially Gen Z's TikTok nation.
With a heart full of love for her family—especially her twin nieces—and a die-hard Bills fan at her core, Jackie is someone you can trust to make your salon experience both fun and relaxing. She’s committed to perfecting her craft, with a keen interest in mastering long layers, chic bobs, balayage blonde/bronde, brunettes, and, of course, meticulous grey coverage.
Her attention to detail is unmatched, especially when it comes to creating flawless blondes and ensuring every strand gets the love it deserves. She’s known for delivering the most luxurious, unbelievable shampoos—your scalp will thank you! Always striving to improve, Jackie is constantly learning and perfecting her techniques to make sure she’s delivering the best for her clients.
